Wait Time Notifications

QRdrly can send an SMS notification to customers when their order begins preparation. This helps set clear expectations and reduces follow up questions. You can enable wait time notifications for specific locations in the Location Settings page in the QRdrly portal.

When staff mark an order as In Progress in Square, QRdrly sends the SMS with the expected wait time configured in the portal.

  • Default wait time
  • Different wait times for pickup and delivery
  • Whether wait time SMS is enabled
  1. Customer places an order through QRdrly.
  2. The order appears in Square.
  3. Staff mark the order as In Progress.
  4. QRdrly sends an SMS using the configured wait time.
  • Set realistic wait times based on your kitchen workflow
  • Adjust wait times during busy periods in the QRdrly portal
  • Review customer feedback and refine as needed
